Long-term can have a vague meaning to some as different people will likely have different ideas as to what "long-term" is. For me, when I say long-term, it generally means I'm willing to hold a stock and wait anywhere from 3 months to a year or more. I'm not expecting any big gains in the near future with these stocks but I'm confident that at least some of them will pay off at some point:

ReplyDeleteI like them all for different reasons. With the biotechs, all it takes is for one drug to get FDA approval for it to soar. CTIC could be a $20 PPS someday but there are a few "ifs" involved. We may have to wait till April, 2010 for a big pay-off. If I had to pick a few aside from IMDS and SNDY...that's tough. Maybe I would go with some combination of MCET, CTIC, NEOL or GETA. But that's not written in stone. I have invested in about 70 companies as I like to cast wide net and I don't like put all my eggs in one basket or just 5 or 10.
ReplyDeleteAs HEB, I try not to think about it. I'm try not to expect anything from it and I haven't added a dime to HEB since July. But if I had to guess, I suppose it will get approved. I got into HEB back in early May with the hope of making a lot of $$$ on or around 5/25. You know the rest. It's been a really frustrating experience with the lack of info from the FDA and HEB. I really hope for a conclusion to the HEB saga this month.
