MYMAN f**ked-up on Vermillion, Inc. (VRMLQ), my man

If MYMAN has listened to his first instinct and got into VRMLQ he would driving home with these ladies instead of just lookin' at this damn photo.

MYMAN considered buyin' VRMLQ a few months ago but thought about it too much and stayed away because of concerns about Vermillion's financial health. VRMLQ is currently trading at $13.50 and it pains MYMAN to even think about this.

So what's the lesson here, my man? You gotta be willin' to take the risks, my man. OK, so what's next? Sometimes you can think much and you should just go by instinct.

What's a future VRMLQ? Maybe these are some candidates:

Bazirgani stocks, my man

MYMAN has a great respect for Bazirgani who posts on the Google finance boards. He helped convinced MYMAN to invest in HTDS and VRAL and today MYMAN invested in two more stocks that Bazirgani recommends: IMDS and SNDY.

Unfortunately, Bazirgani doesn't have a blog or a web site but you can find him on occasion on the Google message boards for HTDS, GETA and a few others. He consistently provides useful insight and he makes strong stock picks when it comes to investing in biotech stocks. The man does serious research. Stocks he has cited or invested in include ADLS, AVXT, CADX, CTIC, GETA, HTDS, IMDS, OLGX, SNDY. Bazirgani says OLGX, IMDS are both in category of 1000% rise within a year.

MYMAN agrees with Bazirgani: Do your research, be patient, don't sell early! He is not always right and no one is. But MYMAN recommends including Bazirgani as part of your research, my man.

BioElectronics Making BIG News This Week (BIEL)

From September 15th but an interesting read:

BioElectronics Making BIG News This Week (BIEL)

The BioElectronics Corp (Public, OTC BIEL) has been making news this week, with the announcement of their schedule for filing with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for 510 (K) pre-marketing clearance. It has also been announced the biotech company is a runner up in the 2009 Technology Innovation winners for their wearable drug-free patch using electromagnetic energy for pain relief.

BioElectronics is seeking clearance for their over the counter ActiPatch Therapy and Recovery RX products. In a statement by BioElectronics CEO Andrew Whelan the company is excited that they will soon begin the clinical study data, and usability studies for the product that is for the treatment of musculoskeletal complaints of pain. The ActiPatch that is for the pain relief of the heal and foot pain is also able to be used in painkilling treatment of postoperative edema, and superficial soft tissue treatment.

Whelan went on to state that they believe this will be a $100 million dollar annual market for the company in treating pain and the clinical data that has been collected by Dr. David G. Genecov is strong, showing it is 100 percent safe and effective. The BioElectronics CEO believes, along with the ActiPatch FDA clearance for other treatments will help the company to gain fast approval for the OTC clearance.

During the next few weeks Whelan states the corporation will file additional applications with the FDA for palliative treatment for postoperative edema and for pain in superficial tissue, which will allow them to market the product in the general surgical market. BioElectrionics plans for their clinical studies to end over the next few months

What's being said about HTDS, my man

MYMAN still believes in HTDS and that we'll see this stock in the 0.05 to 0.10 cent range by the end of the year. Here are some articles and blog posts about HTDS that you may find of interest, my man:

"The fact of the matter is that HTDS is a pretty safe company. While it has experienced some unusually high volatility in recent weeks, its consistent stability over the past several years should, for the most part, put investors' minds at ease. While it has been extremely volatile in August thus far, fluctuating from very large gains/losses to miniscule ones, it is fairly certain that a new support level has been formed out of it."

http://investmentessentials.blogspot.com/2009/08/htds-stock-review.html

"Keep an eye on her the next few weeks. HTDS could very well breakout in a big way."

http://stockbb.net/2009/08/27/htds-another-12-gain-today

"What I find compelling is that HTDS has done some very astute things (acquisition of Mellow Hope) and appears to be very cost efficient in searching for new products. I will be very interested to see what kind of numbers Mellow Hope can produce for the company going forward. The Serbian operation holds out great hope for the company, too. It is working on modifications to a number of existing drugs to treat some of the more “popular” diseases of today’s society. Working with existing drugs also means that the dreaded FDA turndown is less likely and drugs can be brought to market quicker."

http://www.microstockprofit.com/2009/08/24/hard-to-get-a-read-on-htds

"Shenzhen Mellow Hope Pharm Industrial Co., a subsidiary of Hard to Treat Diseases [Pink Sheets: HTDS], has reached an agreement to be the sole international distributor of a Recombinant Hepatitis B vaccine manufactured by North China Pharmaceutical Group (see story). NCPC is a large state-owned pharmaceutical company, with a specialty in vaccines."

Insiders sell like there's no tomorrow, my man

Corporate officers and directors were buying stock when the market hit bottom. What does it say that they're selling now?

By Colin Barr, senior writer

NEW YORK (Fortune) -- Can hundreds of stock-selling insiders be wrong? The stock market has mounted an historic rally since it hit a low in March. The S&P 500 is up 55%, as U.S. job losses have slowed and credit markets have stabilized. But against that improving backdrop, one indicator has turned distinctly bearish: Corporate officers and directors have been selling shares at a pace last seen just before the onset of the subprime malaise two years ago. While a wave of insider selling doesn't necessarily foretell a stock market downturn, it suggests that those with the first read on business trends don't believe current stock prices are justified by economic fundamentals. "It's not a very complicated story," said Charles Biderman, who runs market research firm Trim Tabs. "Insiders know better than you and me. If prices are too high, they sell."
